Internship Marketing & Social Media

Our young start-up organization is looking for a marketing & social media intern! During this internship you will have the opportunity to delve further into various forms of social media and you will help us to devise and create fun and interesting campaigns to attract the target group. We are currently active on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIN and we have our own newsletters. We write blogs and are constantly working on fun collaborations with influencers, podcasts, restaurants and companies.

With a unique concept, wide range and liquor stores in Amsterdam, Amersfoort, Haarlem, Tilburg and a webshop, we are ready to further conquer the alcohol-free market on social media as well. At the head office in Amsterdam (Sloterdijk) we work with a team of 10 passionate and pleasant professionals, including the 2 founders. Growing goes by trial and error. Successes are celebrated and we learn from a wrong decision. Enthusiasm, creativity and perseverance are a must.

This is what you will do
In the morning you start your day with an alcohol-free gin tonic and checking the social media channels. As a social media expert, you discuss the latest trends with the NIX&NIX marketing team and which activities you will be tackling this week. After that you are mainly busy creating content. You help to devise, write and design campaigns, blogs and newsletters, for example. You maintain our channels and are responsible for both the images and the text. You provide inspiring content and, together with content marketer Noor, look for interesting collaborations, in order to take our social media to the next level.

Are you:

  • A student at a higher vocational education in the direction of: marketing, communication, media and communication, a creative or another relevant study
  • Looking for an internship per September for a minimum of 5 months
  • Someone with a passion for visual storytelling and you take responsibility; social media is always on!
  • Constantly busy creating content, so creativity and insight is important
  • Up to date with the various social media channels: you know what is going on
  • Do you have experience in programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva and do you know how to use them effectively? Or would you like to learn this?
  • Do you have a perfect command of the Dutch language and do you enjoy working with language and text?
  • Just as enthusiastic about non-alcoholic drinks as we are
