Daring is the initiative of Coralie de Boüard. Daughter of the owner of the world famous Château Angélus in Saint-Émilion. She has had a Cuvée from her own domain de-alcoholised.
What we also see is that important wine journalists such as Hubrecht Duijker and Harold Hamersma pay more attention to non-alcoholic options. For example, Hubrecht visited our liquor store in Haarlem last month and writes on his LinkedIn account “Nevertheless, alcohol-free wine is a growth product worldwide.” And “Moreover, the quality of 'wines' without alcohol is constantly increasing.”
Harold has recently tasted a number of wines again. Among other things, the new Chardonnay from Leitz , of which he describes the taste as: "this Chardonnay is starting to look suspiciously like real wine in the mouth".
We also find the producers who organize their entire range "differently" daring. For example, we are fans of the Gnista products and Elixirs from Three Spirit and Solbrü .
