How many calories are in non-alcoholic drinks? Does it contain a lot of sugar? Will the alcohol be replaced by sweets?
These are all questions that are often asked. Our beers contain approximately 50% fewer calories than the alcoholic variety. For wines from which the alcohol has been removed, this is often between 70% and 80%. In general, it takes about 1.7 to 1.9 grams of sugar to produce one gram of alcohol. As a result, alcohol contains extremely high calories. By removing the alcohol from a drink, you also remove most of the calories. Concentrated juice is sometimes added to wine to improve the mouthfeel, resulting in a few grams of sugar in the wine. Nevertheless, the number of calories will still be 70% to 80% lower than with the alcoholic variant.
